Canadian Immigration Made Easy

Immigration to Canada would not be overwhelming if you follow these steps. These steps are helpful to successful immigrants. canadian immigration requires an integral of steps and stages for a successful outcome. These will serve as a guide and make your Canada immigration hopes possible.

Access your Eligibility

Before starting the immigration it is important to assess your eligibility status. Factors such as age, family, education, work experience and language proficiency can be crucial in determining which pathway suits you best. Take advantage of systems like the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) calculator to assess your eligibility status. The CRS calculator helps candidates understand how their profile aligns with the current Express Entry selection criteria and strategise ways to improve their CRS score for receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.

Identify your Immigration Pathway

Decide on your immigration. Thankfully, Canada offers multiple immigration pathways such as Express Entry, for skilled workers, Provincial Nominee Programs(PNPs), ideal for job offers from a specific province, Family Sponsorship and Business immigration for entrepreneurs looking to start to invest in a business in Canada.

Gather Required documents

Collect all the necessary documents. Ensure that all the documents are valid. Some important documents typically include a passport, educational credentials, language proficiency test results(IELTS, CELPIP for English; TEF for French), proof of work experience, bank statements and medical and police clearance certificates.

Create your immigration profile

Before you begin the application, you must meet the eligibility criteria for the immigration programs. Express Entry will require you to create an online profile. You will fill out personal information (e.g. age, work experience, language proficiency and other requirements). Be careful not to give misleading and incomplete information to avoid deals and denials. Your profile will be ranked based on the CRS.  high ranking profiles receive Invitations to Apply(ITAs) for permanent residency during standard draws.

Submit your application

Within 60 days of receiving your ITA, endeavour to complete and submit your application. Your documents must be up-to-date to avoid rejection. The application can either be done online or through a hardcopy(paper) application.

Pay the Application Fee

Depending on your immigration program, you will pay the application fee. The Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPFR) would be required after the application is approved. After payment of the application fee, wait for the processing period, which can take several months. Be attuned to the information about the application proceedings as you may be unable to provide additional information or attend a scheduled interview. If your application is approved you will receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), allowing you to travel to Canada. Be aware that you will present your COPR and other relevant documents to immigration officers at the port of entry.

Navigating the Canadian immigration process can be complex. However, by following these guidelines, and harnessing available tools and resources you can simplify your journey whether you are applying through Express Entry, a Provincial Nominee Program or family sponsorship. However, the information should be honest and can be validated with available supporting documents.
