The UN Security Council Working Group on children and armed conflict, chaired by Amb. Vanessa Frazier, has been in Nigeria, dialoguing with key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria Human Rights Commission, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Counter Terrorism Centre, Ministry of Women Affairs and Ministry of Justice, on the issues and necessary actions needed to ensure the rights of children in armed conflict, from protection, reintegration, to providing them with all the services needed for a better future.
