GENOTYPE NEVER CHANGE

Genotype is the genetic makeup of an organism.It determines the specific characteristic of an individual known as phenotype. In human, DNA is the genetic material that encode genetic information. Therefore, features of any human being is based on his genotype and this will never change.

Consider a patient suffering from sickle cell Anemia,his genotype is found to be SS. After undergoes a successful bone marrow transplant, the patient restricted from any symptoms relating to sickle cell disease.The genotype test can show AA in replication to the donor's blood. But genotype S can pass onto their offsprings because genotype is DNA that can not be change forever. 

It is advice for any person to know his/her own genotype and get appropriate partner in order to deteriorate the distribution of offsprings with SS genotype. A person with a genotype AS is not allowed to marry any of genotype AS or SS except with genotype AA. Genotype SS is only possible with a genotype AA which will end in producing a carriers offsprings with genotype AS.

 Moreover, Bone marrow is site for blood production. In sickle cell patient,bone marrow reproduce damage red blood cells. A procedure of bone marrow transplant is done to replace patient's bone marrow with a donor's bone marrow to produce a healthy cells in order to improve health condition.
