JUST IN: AbdulRasheed Bawa, Chairman of The EFCC, Suspended by Tinubu.

 

Introduction about the update, 

AbdulRasheed Bawa, Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has been suspended by President Bola Tinubu.

Willie Basse, Director of Information at the SGF Office, stated in a statement that Bawa's suspension will allow for an adequate investigation into his actions while in office.

The statement reads, follows weighty allegations of abuse of office levelled against him.

Mr Bawa has been coordinated to promptly surrender the undertakings of his office to the Chief, Tasks in the Commission, who will manage the issues of the Workplace of the Administrator of the Commission forthcoming the finish of the examination."
